How It Works

• Precision-punched columns—Vertical columns feature a series of machined holes on a consistent pitch (typically 3-inch or 4-inch centers), allowing arms to be placed at any height along the column.
• Secure pin connection—Each arm slides into the column and is locked in place with a spring-loaded or gravity-actuated pin that drops into a machined slot. The pin provides a positive lock that prevents accidental disengagement under load.
• Tool-free adjustment—To move an arm, simply lift the pin, slide the arm out, reposition it at the new height, and re-engage the pin. No wrenches, no bolts, no safety concerns about partially secured connections.
• Same load capacity—The secure pin connection is engineered to deliver the same load rating as a bolted connection. You are not trading strength for flexibility.

Configurations

Arms extend from one side of the column only. Ideal for wall-mounted installations or end-of-row positions. Provides full accessibility from one side.

Double-Sided

Arms extend from both sides of the column, creating a freestanding storage island. Maximizes storage density by serving two aisles from a single row of columns.

VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) Cantilever

Combined with guided vehicle systems or specialized reach equipment, Bulldog Rack's cantilever can be configured for very narrow aisle operation—reducing aisle width from 12-14 feet to as little as 6 feet. This is particularly valuable in steel service centers where maximizing storage per square foot is critical.
